Working at Heights and Fall Protection

Working at Heights and Fall Protection

Training duration: 2+ hours

This is a 2+ hour course that provides the critical aspects of OSHA 1910.28, 1910.146, and 1910.500-503 as the legal force behind Fall Protection, and ANSI Z359.1, A10.14, and 14.3 as the trusted guidance providing an understanding of what the requirements are, and how to achieve safety while working at heights and using most types of fall protection gear.

Once the knowledge of regulations and codes is achieved, this class provides the accepted definitions, common devices, and examples of working at heights and using fall protection.

Our focus then shifts to identifying the common hazards associated with working at heights and the most widely used control measures. Finally, we take a close look at the fall protection equipment and PPE to understand the types of equipment, inspection frequencies, safety factors, and replacement criteria. This is the best tool available for new employees or those seeking a refresher or deeper understanding of current requirements and practices.

With prior coordination, this course can be customizable at on-site delivery to emphasize the customer’s facility and equipment.
